Abstract

Investigati on of natural compounds showing specific toxicity to tumor cells aims to improve the efficacy of available therapies. Our previous research demonstrated the cytotoxic acti vity of the bacterial pigment violacein against rhabdomyosarcoma (RMS) cell lines. RMS is the most common soft tissue malignancy in children.
