The central goal of our laboratoryis to evaluate the role of these non-cancer cells in can-cer progression and metastasis. Cancer progressionsignificantly depends on the influence of many differenthost cells. Whether such host responses are recruited tocontrol cancer progression or further aid in tumorgrowth (or both) is still unclear.
