PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) MELALUI PENDEKATAN SAINTIFIK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS MATERI PEMENUHAN KEBUTUHAN KELAS IV SDN 1 GEMAHARJO KABUPATEN TRENGGALEK

Abstract

Conventional learning results in less productive learning. This inhibits students being active and learning is not student-centered. The application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model aims to make it easier for students to improve learning activities, participate in learning and solve problem solving in receiving lessons. This type of Classroom Action Research consists of 4 stages namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflection. The results showed that teacher and student activities increased in the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model. The learning outcomes of knowledge aspects in cycle I to cycle II increased in the average value of cycle I of 58.33 and cycle II an average value of 85.83 was obtained. It can be concluded that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning outcomes. Therefore, it is recommended to apply the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in social studies learning
