Abstract
Tanrıça Leto: Lydia Sikkeleri Üzerinde” başlıklı çalışmada güdülen amaç
öncelikle Tanrıça’nın söz konusu bölgedeki tapınım alanlarını belirlemek olmuştur. Bu
amaç doğrultusunda, kült çalışmalarına doğrudan veri sunan sikkeler temel alınarak
yürütülen araştırma sonunda Leto’nun toplam dört kentte –Mastaura-Sardeis-Tabala ve
Tripolis- olmak üzere bölgede yaygın bir tapınım alanı edinmiş olduğu saptanmıştır.The primary aim of the study “The Goddess Leto: On Lydian Coins” is to
determine and locate the boundaries of her cult in Lydia. By close examination of coins
significant for this purpose, it has been established that the Goddess Leto was widely
worshipped in the region in question, mainly in the four provinces Mastaura, Sardeis,
Tabala and Tripoli
