Abstract
The game is played today in the technological sectors because they are the ones that produce the most added value today, the most demanded and the ones that will determine the agenda of the most powerful companies, institutions and nations in the world. What role do women play in this new world? Will she be able to intervene and lead this unstoppable technological process? This study analyses the evolution of cyberfeminism, the theories behind it and its different aspects. The digital gaps show that the factual powers are transferred to the technological world in which women, at the moment, still have a secondary role. Cyberfeminism rebels against this situation want to empower female with the strengths of technology to lead this new world and eliminate the old barriers and dichotomies of sex, gender, race or economic power. It highlights the role of education to build educational feminism based on technology equality with the contributions of what we have called positive cyberfeminism.La partida se juega hoy día en los sectores tecnológicos porque son los que más valor añadido producen, los más demandados y los que marcarán la agenda de las empresas, instituciones y naciones más poderosas del mundo. ¿Qué papel juega la mujer en este nuevo mundo? ¿Será capaz de intervenir y liderar este proceso imparable tecnológico? En este estudio se realiza un análisis de la evolución del ciberfeminismo, las teorías que lo sustentan y sus distintas vertientes. Las brechas digitales muestran que los poderes fácticos se trasladan al mundo tecnológico en el que la mujer, de momento, sigue teniendo un rol secundario. El ciberfeminismo se rebela contra esta situación, quiere empoderar a la mujer con las fortalezas de la tecnología para que lidere este nuevo mundo y elimine las antiguas barreras y dicotomías de sexo, género, raza o poder económico. Se destaca el papel de la educación para construir un feminismo educativo tecnológico basado en la igualdad con los aportes de lo que hemos denominado ciberfeminismo positivo
