In this text we can observe the correspondences established between art and utopia from the ultimate decades of the XVIII century until the artistic avant-gardes of the first half of the 20 th century. The genealogy of these connections will cover three sequences or regimes: the utopia of philosophers (Schiller), the socialist and industrial utopias (from Saint-Simon to William Morris) and the utopias born from the own poetics of the artists (Bauhaus, De Stijl and Surrealism).En este texto se observan las correspondencias existentes entre arte y utopía desde las últimas décadas del siglo XVIII hasta las vanguardias artísticas de la primera mitad del siglo XX.
