L'objectif de la présente étude est d'étudié la fréquence d’utilisation et la prévalence à l’addiction au smartphone en l’associant au genre en milieu ivoirien. L’étude a été menée chez 373 adolescents (garçons et filles) âgés de 12 à 19 ans dans un établissement scolaire en côte d’ivoire. A l’aide d’un questionnaire adapté à la version courte de l’échelle SAS (SAS-SV), cet échantillon de 373 enquêtés ont été interrogés après une sélection par convenance et une participation volontaire. Le logiciel SPSS a servi d’outil de traitement de données recueillies. Les résultats portent d’abord sur l’identité des élèves disposant d’un smartphone selon le niveau et le sexe, ensuite la quantité du temps d’utilisation du smartphone selon le sexe et enfin, le degré d’addiction selon le genre. En tenant compte de ces résultats, le genre se révèle comme un indicateur très important dans l’addiction au smartphone.
The objective of this study is to study the frequency of use and the prevalence of smartphone addiction by associating it with gender in the Ivorian environment. Using a questionnaire adapted to the short version of the SAS (SAS-SV), this sample of 373 respondents were interviewed after selection by convenience and voluntary participation. SPSS software was used as a data processing tool. The results focus first on the identity of pupils with a smartphone according to level and gender, then the amount of time spent using the smartphone according to gender en finally, the degree of addiction according to gender. Talking these results into account, gender turns out to be a very important indicator in smartphone addiction
