The general purpose of this dissertation is the presentation and illustration of a conceptual scheme for the situational analysis of stories told by individuals about relatively undefined pictures. It is intended as a theoretical work in so far as it logically and plausibly defines, arranges, and integrates a body of concepts that will present a clear, rounded, and systematic view of selected aspects of the stories.
