PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA MONOPOLY POP-UP PADA MATERI KEBERAGAMAN BUDAYA JAWA TIMUR KELAS IV SDN TIRON 4

Abstract

The background of this research is based on the results of observations that have been made in class IV SDN Tiron 4, especially on cultural diversity material, it is found that 1) teaching media are rarely used in providing subject matter 2) the limited availability of existing facilities in schools, and 3) the condition of the majority of students is passive if only given material without being accompanied by learning media. The research method used is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate). The data collected in this study relates to the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of the media. The results showed that 1) validity media were used with the acquisition of an average percentage of material expert validators and media experts of 86%, 2) practicality media were used with the acquisition of 90% practical results from teachers and 87.5% from students, and 3 ) effectiveness media was used with the acquisition of significant differences from the students' pre-test and post-test work which was reinforced by the results of using the SPSS program the Paired Samples t-test  with a significance result (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05. The conclusion from these results, it is stated that pop-up monopoly media on East Java cultural diversity material is valid, practical, and effective for use in learning
