Keywords: Humanities; Artificial Intelligence; AI  Introduction//Problem Statement The phenomenon of artificial intelligence, which is progressing and expanding day by day, has been connected with various fields. For example, we see that AI is related to medicine and plays an effective role in medicine. Moreover, artificial intelligence has an impactful role in engineering. For this reason, the importance of AI is very important and fundamental in terms of its nature and also in terms of its connection and role with other fields and sciences. Our issue in the present discussion is whether artificial intelligence can play a role in humanities and whether it can be related to humanities. The assumptions are as follows: 1. AI is related to humanities and plays a role in it. 2. AI is not related to humanities and does not play a role in it. 3. AI is related to humanities, but it is not considered as an effective role in it. It should also be noted that our issue in this paper is the impact and relevance of artificial intelligence in humanities and not the other way around. The impact and relevance of humanities in AI can be the subject and problem of future researches.  Research Methods Our research method in this article will be analytical. What is more, we will also describe the contents in some places, but because our paper will be in line with answering the questions of our problem and expressing its assumptions in an analytical way, so it must be claimed that the method adopted in this article will be in an analytical way. Moreover, our research method will be library method. On the other hand, it should be noted that the present paper will be in line with the answers to the questions raised in the problem statement and the titles of the main body of the article will be in the form of questions. Therefore, it can be said that our article is a question-oriented article.  Research background Although the subject of our discussion is whether artificial intelligence is related to humanities and whether it has an effective role in it, it should be said that the discussion is about the relationship of artificial intelligence to humanities and vice versa, as well as the role of AI in humanities and On the contrary, it is one of the topics that is important and requires extensive research from different angles. Researches have also been done in this regard. For example, Rich (1985) has written an article entitled “Artificial intelligence and the humanities”. Dimock (2020) also has an article entitled “AI and the Humanities”, and Jiffin et al (2021) has reviewed AI in digital humanities and social sciences. From the investigations, it can be seen that, firstly, the relationship between AI and humanities can be investigated from different angles, and secondly, it is an important issue. On the other hand, it should be said that the innovative and important aspect of this article is that it has analyzed and examined the impact of artificial intelligence in humanities and the relationship between artificial intelligence and humanities and has expressed three aspects of its impact and can be a turning point for future research. Is Artificial Intelligence Related to Humanities? Although humanities are different from natural sciences in terms of subject matter and even in some methods, but because it is considered part of knowledge, it has the ability to be influential. Because it seems that many teachings will undergo transformations based on their time and place. Artificial intelligence, as a phenomenon of the present age, which has a large scope in the dimensions of human life, has the ability to communicate with all sciences and knowledge, and because humanities are considered part of knowledge, therefore it is not excluded from this case. And it can be related to artificial intelligence. Therefore, artificial intelligence is related to humanities. Although humanities are different from experimental sciences in terms of subject matter and even in some methods, but because it is considered part of knowledge, it has the ability to be influential. Because it seems that many teachings will undergo transformations based on their time and space. Since every science and knowledge need dynamism and is wide in adapting itself to other issues, it can have many elements that play a role in it. There is no intellectual barrier that prevents the presence of artificial intelligence in the humanities. In addition, humanities are knowledge that deals with humans and human issues, and artificial intelligence is also because it is made by humans and is for humans, so it communicates with humans and human problems and for this reason, it can be used in humanities and plays a role. Many experimental issues are present as effective elements in knowledge such as psychology, which is one of the branches of humanities. Based on this, it should be claimed that there is no obstacle for AI to play an effective role in humanities, and because artificial intelligence is made by humans and for humans, and of course deals with human issues, that's why it has the potential of this has to be present in humanities. On the other hand, as mentioned before, AI can improve the quantity and quality of humanities research, and humanities researchers can use artificial intelligence for the development of humanities. In addition to this, when artificial intelligence plays a role in humanities, it will have the ability to become one of the subjects of humanities and therefore it will have the ability to be one of the subjects of humanities. According to these two questions that were stated and answered, the second and third assumptions are rejected and the first assumption remains. The breadth of humanities requires that it be related to many issues either directly or indirectly, and even issues that cannot be raised in the humanities can be raised in the humanities from a historical and philosophical point of view. For instance, many experimental materials that are not in the humanities are discussed in the history and philosophy of science, which is one of the sub-branches of the humanities. The effective presence of AI in the humanities can be seen in a summary form in the table below. 1. Presence as an active element AI in Humanities Attending as a research assistant Being a subject in the humanities  Conclusion Artificial intelligence as a tool has the ability to play a role in all fields and sciences, and its role can be played in different ways, and it can also communicate with all fields. Artificial intelligence is also related to humanities and has the ability to play a role in it, and its role can be played in three ways. The first state: to play an effective role and have the power to solve a problem of humanities by itself or to help in solving the problem. The Second state: To help humanities thinkers in humanities researches.
