STRUCTURE OF THE NOVEL SUPERELASTIC Ti-Zr-Nb ALLOY WITH A HIGH Zr CONTENT

Abstract

The novel superelastic Ti-42Zr-11Nb (at.%) alloy was examined by the EDS and XRD techniques. The lattice parameters of β and α’’ phases were measured using XRD data to calculate the crystallographic recovery strain limit.
