ANÁLISE DE SÉRIES TEMPORAIS DE VAZÃO E PRECIPITAÇÃO EM ALGUMAS BACIAS DO ESTADO DE SÃO PAULO COM DIFERENTES GRAUS DE INTERVENÇÕES ANTRÓPICAS

Abstract

Aiming a better understanding of hydrological behavior and its interactions with anthropogenic activities, time series analysis of flow and precipitation were carried out in some basins with different degrees of human impact in the State of São Paulo. The main goals of this project were to define dry and wet periods and perform an exploratory study through the analysis of trends and abrupt changes in the average of those parameters. This hydrological diagnosis is useful as a reference for environmental and biogeochemistry studies being realized within the Biota SP Project (FAPESP), that it has been accomplished in the same basins. The statistical analysis was performed with annual data from 1947 to 1997 or from 1970 to 1997, depending on the data availability for each basin. The results show that in most basins of the project a positive trend in the precipitation exists when the considered time series is from 1947 to 1997. In this period, the flow follows the positive trend of the precipitation in the non-impacted basins, meanwhile negative trends where observed in some more impacted riversPara uma melhor compreensão do comportamento hidrológico e suas interações com as atividades antrópicas, foram analisadas séries temporais de vazão e de precipitação de algumas bacias com diferentes graus de impacto no Estado de São Paulo. Os principais objetivos foram definir os períodos secos e úmidos e realizar um estudo exploratório através da análise de tendências e mudanças bruscas na média desses parâmetros. Esse diagnóstico hidrológico serve como referência para estudos ambientais e biogeoquímicos dentro do projeto BIOTA SP (FAPESP), que vem sendo realizado nas mesmas bacias. A análise estatística foi realizada com os dados anuais, no período de 1947 a 1997 ou 1970 a 1997, dependendo das séries disponíveis para cada bacia. Os resultados mostram que na maioria das bacias do projeto existe uma tendência positiva da precipitação quando a série considerada é de 1947 a 1997. Nesse período, a vazão acompanha a tendência positiva da precipitação nas bacias não impactadas; entretanto, tendências negativas foram observadas em alguns rios mais impactado
