IGME's Information Systems contribution to the European Geological Data Infrastructure (EGDI)

Abstract

[EN] The Geological Survey of Spain (IGME) is a founding member of EuroGeoSurveys (EGS). This non-governmental organisation brings together 38 National and regional Geological Organizations (NGOs), whose main objective is to provide the European Commission (EC) with Earth science knowledge to enable decision-making on environmental and energy policies. One of the central pillars of the EGS strategy is to provide harmonised data through the European Data Infrastructure (EGDI) to facilitate such decision-making.Peer reviewe
