The subject of reflection in this article is to analyze the relationship between the male Christian project and traditional religiosity associated with Sarmatism. The analysis is based on the understanding of Sarmatian masculinity based on a knightly ethos. Representatives of male Christianity refer to the myth that still exists in Catholic discourse as a “bulwark of Christianity”, which becomes part of their identity.Przedmiotem namysłu w tym artykule jest analiza relacji pomiędzy projektem męskiego chrześcijaństwa a tradycyjną religijnością skojarzoną z sarmatyzmem. Podstawą analiz jest rozumienie sarmackiej męskości, opartej na etosie rycerskim. Przedstawiciele męskiego chrześcijaństwa odwołują się do wciąż istniejącego w dyskursie katolickim mitu Polski jako przedmurza chrześcijaństwa, który staje się częścią ich tożsamości
