At the beginning of the 20th century, S. I. Witkiewicz formulated the naturalization of the intentional research programme. This programme came into being as a reaction to Husserl’s idealistic interpretation of the mental states. Realizing some postulates of the programme, Witkiewicz got ahead of R. G. Millikan, J. Searle, F. Varela, S. Gallagher, Dan Zahavi and other’s ideas; thus, Witkiewicz was the precursor of many contemporary philosophies of mind.Na początku XX wieku S. I. Witkiewicz sformułował program badawczy naturalizacji świadomości. Powstał on jako reakcja na Husserlowską transcendentalno-idealistyczną interpretację stanów mentalnych.
