Der Beitrag präsentiert die Ergebnisse der Provenienzforschung zur spätgotischen Skulptur der Madonna mit Kind aus der Sammlung des Bezirksmuseums in Toruń. Archivalische Recherchen vermochten es nicht, den Herkunftsort des Denkmals zu ermitteln, sie erlaubten jedoch, die Umstände kennenzulernen, wie die zu besprechende Skulptur in die Toruń-Sammlung gelangte.This article presents the results of a provenance research concerning a late Gothic sculpture of the Madonna and Child from the collection of the District Museum in Toruń. Archival research has not made it possible to determine the monument's place of origin, but it has made it possible to learn the circumstances in which the sculpture in question found its way into the Toruń collection.Artykuł prezentuje efekty badań proweniencyjnych dotyczących późnogotyckiej rzeźby Madonny z Dzieciątkiem ze zbiorów Muzeum Okręgowego w Toruniu. Kwerendy archiwalne nie umożliwiły poznania miejsca pochodzenia zabytku, jednak pozwoliły na poznanie okoliczności w jakich omawiana rzeźba trafiła do toruńskiej kolekcji
