In hindsight, it is therefore possible to pose a question where it has led the discussion on inspiration and what direction it can and should take in the future. Vatican II adopted a Christocentric concept of Revelation and a text-centered theology of inspiration. This created the problem of inconsistency between the two issues. The PBC document from 2014, assuming that there is a close connection between the theology of Revelation and inspiration, responded to the voice of the Church expressed in the XII General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops (2008). However, a theological synthesis covering these two issues is still to be developed. The post-synodal document Verbum Domini (2008) outlined the Christological direction for developing this synthesis, which will abolish the dichotomy of searching for theology of inspiration in dogmatic theology and biblical studies. Do wypracowania jest jednak wciąż synteza teologiczna obejmująca te dwa zagadnienia. Posynodalny dokument Verbum Domini (2008) nakreślił chrystologiczny kierunek wypracowywania tej syntezy, która zniesie dychotomię poszukiwań teologii natchnienia w teologii dogmatycznej i biblistyce
