The School/Educational Psychology in the Children Education: A Report on an Experience with Parents and Educators

Abstract

This article intends to present the experiences gained in the compulsory training in school and educational Psychology for the Psychology course of the UNIVALI (Vale do Itajaí University) that was undertaken in an official institution for children education. The theoretical focus utilized includes a social-historic view of the development and apprenticeship in childhood. It broaches the importance of the relations among school, educators, and parents, and its role in the children bringing up. The strategies to achieve our goal included information wall charts for the educators and orientation meetings for the parents. This intervention promotes an approximation between school and parents, yielding the participation and integration of the bring-up process involved agents
