Abstract

Dass der Zusammenhang zwischen sozialer Herkunft und Bildung in Deutschland so eng ist, könnte nach Auffassung des Autors auch daran liegen, dass mit "Bildung" die Erwartung auf soziale Gratifikation verbunden ist. Die begriffliche Unterscheidung von Kompetenz und Bildung könnte seines Erachtens auch in der Diskussion um Standards zur Klärung beitragen.
