Psychometric properties of the proactive personality scale in high school teachers in Lima (Perú)

Abstract

El objetivo fue evaluar las propiedades psicométricas de la Escala de Personalidad Proactiva. Participaron 302 profesores de escuelas de Lima (Perú). Los resultados indican que la Escala de Personalidad Proactiva se ajustó a una estructura unifactorial (2 = 95.32, gl = 35, 2/gl = 2.72, CFI = .949, TLI = .934, RMSEA = .076 y SRMR = .044), se evidencia una validez convergente con los sentimientos de autoeficacia y presenta una adecuada consistencia interna (ω = .89). Se concluye que la Escala de Personalidad Proactiva es un instrumento que cuenta con evidencias de validez y fiabilidad.The objective was to evaluate the psychometric properties of the Proactive Personality Scale. The sample was 302 teachers from schools in Lima (Peru). The results indicate that the Proactive Personality Scale was adjusted to a unifactorial structure (2 = 95.32, gl = 35, 2/gl = 2.72, CFI = .949, TLI = .934, RMSEA = .076 y SRMR = .044), convergent validity is evidenced with feelings of self-efficacy and presents adequate internal consistency (.89).
