Causes and Consequences of voice disorders among teachers  Propositions  1. Teachers with shorter phonation time were more often identified with voice disorders by a speech therapist, which suggest that phonation time is a good indicator of voice quality (this thesis). 2. Noisy environments of schools will contribute to voice complaints among teachers (this thesis). 3. Voice complaints are a persistent health problem among teachers, given the high prevalence and recurrence of complaints (this thesis). 4.
