C’est une copie d’un autre manuscrit original quoi fut écrit par un érudit nord-africain Muhammad al-Masri. Le défunt père de Madani Taal, Mountaga Tall, est indiqué comme le propriétaire du document. Il l’a hérité de son oncle, Ceerno Seydou Nourou Tall.The manuscript was composed by Fulani scholar Muhammad Jamraabal bun Mu’adh of Fuuta Jalon (Guinea) in 1219Hijri/1804BC.
