Abstract
The year 2022 was marked by jubilees experienced in Silesia. The Diocese of Gliwice, established in 1992, celebrated its 30th anniversary. The author, who has been researching the history of the Church in Lower and Upper Silesia for many years, paints a picture of one of the smallest diocesesin Poland. He also provides information on the Gliwice bishops, the institutions of church administration existing in the diocese, the sanctuaries, formation houses, etc. The final part is devoted to more important events in the history of this still young unit of the local Church in Poland.Rok 2022 upłynął pod znakiem przeżywanych na Śląsku jubileuszy. Powstała w 1992 r. diecezja gliwicka świętowała jubileusz 30-lecia swojego istnienia. Autor, od lat zajmujący się dziejami Kościoła na Dolnym i Górnym Śląsku, kreśli obraz jednej z najmniejszych diecezji w Polsce. Podaje także informacje dotyczące biskupów gliwickich, istniejących w diecezji instytucji administracji kościelnej, sanktuariów, domów formacyjnych itp. Ostatnia część poświęcona została ważniejszym wydarzeniom w dziejach tej wciąż młodej jednostki Kościoła lokalnego w Polsce
