UniBrace: An Innovative Approach in Orthonyxia

Abstract

Ingrown nails are a common condition that causes pain, redness, and swelling, as well as disrupting one's quality of life and occasionally leading to complications such as infections. The treatment is non-operative and involves: the application of local or systemic antibiotics; a chemical matricectomy; or surgical, with complete or partial resection of the nail. Orthonyxia is another excellent alternative to treating onychocryptosis. The following material examines the contraindications to the application of this innovative method as well as its advantages
