This report provides further guidance on the critical risk factors associated with RAAC panel construction. It includes a proposed approach to the classification of these risk factors and how these may impact on the proposed remediation and management of RAAC.
This report is designed to assist with the approach to RAAC assessment amongst the structural engineering community. It is intended to be adopted by structural engineers who will be responsible for quantifying, appraising and providing reasoned assessments of RAAC panel construction on a case-by-case basis using their own engineering judgement.
It is recommended that a reader familiarises themselves with the 2019 SCOSS Alert, the previous IStructE report and the references in Section 8.</p
