application/pdf糖尿病は生活習慣の長期的なコントロールを必要とする病気であり，多くの患者がセルフモニタリングを行っている。今回，セルフモニタリングにより発生する自己データを効果的に活用するための支援プログラムを開発しその評価を行った。開発したシステムは，携帯情報端末（PDA），クライアントPC，サーバPCから構成され，患者本人がPDAを用いて入力する。その入力情報は無線LANを介してクライアントPCにデータ転送される。システムの評価は，青年群と糖尿病患者群を対象に行った。その結果，PDAの操作性は，「文字の入力がむずかしい」「文字が小さい」という問題点もあったが，概ね良好の評価を得た。また，糖尿病患者群による面接調査などから，内容に対する改善点も明らかになった。その他，フィードバック機能を持たせたことで，「自己管理へ関心を持つようになった」との評価もあり，自己管理への効果も期待できるものとなった。Diabetes is a disease requiring long-term control of a life-style, and many patients do self-monitoring. We developed a support program to put self-data to practical use effectively by self-monitoring, and an evaluation was conducted. The developed system consists of a personal digital assistant (PDA), a client PC, a server PC, and the patient inputs into it using the PDA. The input information is forwarded to the client PC by wireless LAN. The evaluation of the system was conducted in a youth group and diabetic group. Results indicated that, although the PDA was evaluated as excellent, problems such as "the characters were small" and "inputting the characters was difficult" remained. Other necessary refinements became clear as a result of interview data from the diabetic group. In addition, the evaluation " I became interested in self-care" was obtained because of the feed-back function of the system.報告|Report
