The main aim of the article is to analyze the concept of the Global Pact on Education and the proposal to put it into practice on the basis of the teaching of Pope Francis. The idea of a new “educational alliance” is an adequate and integral attempt to answer the present challenges in the context of the epoch changes and the search for a new humanism. This concept has not yet been developed in a broader way in Polish, therefore the article presents its main assumptions and ethical implications. Seven levels of the educational pact implementation are discussed and the resulting moral challenges: appreciating the school’s mission, rediscovering the identity of Catholic schools, showing the new role of universities and the value of beauty in the process of human formation.The main aim of the article is to analyze the concept of the Global Pact on Education and the proposal to put it into practice on the basis of the teaching of Pope Francis. Seven levels of the implementation of the educational pact are discussed, and so are the resulting moral challenges: appreciating the mission of the school, rediscovering the identity of Catholic schools and revealing the new role of universities and the value of beauty in the process of human formation.Głównym celem artykułu jest analiza koncepcji Globalnego Paktu Wychowawczego oraz propozycji wcielenia jej w praktykę na bazie nauczania papieża Franciszka. Idea nowego „przymierza wychowawczego” jest adekwatną i integralną próbą odpowiedzi na obecne wyzwania w kontekście dokonującej się zmiany epoki i poszukiwań nowego humanizmu. Koncepcja ta nie została jeszcze opracowana w szerszy sposób w języku polskim, dlatego w artykule prezentowane są jej główne założenia oraz implikacje etyczne. Omówionych jest siedem płaszczyzn realizacji paktu wychowawczego oraz wynikające z nich wyzwania moralne: docenienie misji szkoły, odkrycie na nowo tożsamości szkół katolickich, ukazanie nowej roli uniwersytetów oraz wartości piękna w procesie formacji ludzkiej
