3. Acalypha castroviejoi Cardiel (1994: 205). Type: ― COLOMBIA. Santander: El Roble, 1500 m, 16 February 1927, E.P. Killip & A.C. Smith 19358 (holotype GH!, isotypes GH!, NY!, U!, US [2 sheets]!). Distribution:— America. Western South America: Colombia. References:— Cardiel (1995a: 45, 1995b: 183), Govaerts et al. (2000: 55), Murillo (2004: 187).
