Farmers are supposed to use managment practices that enhance soil organic carbon. Yet, this is easier to say than do it, specially in soils with high initial soil organic carbon content. Here, we presented the main projects on soil organic carbon at NORSØK, with emphasis on the challenges under Norwegian conditions.
