Title: “3D and Augmented Reality (AR) Learning Modules for Ancient Civilization Represented Visually in Rock-cut Buddhist Caves in Yungang, China.”  Budget The project team is requesting a total of $10,000 for the one-year project, starting from August 2019.  items FIU MDC Activities Students’ hours $10/hr@20 hours per week for 5 weeks  $1,000 $1,000 3 students will be hired to work on this project in the areas of 1) research and compiling the historical information about the Yungang Cave art under supervision of Dr. Lidu Yi; 2) learn and participate in developing the AR tools under supervision of the GIS Center technical PI Sheyla De Santana; 3) Organize the two public exhibit of Yungang Cave Art under supervision of Professor Robert Henry Travel to China; and bring Chinese partner on site  $2,000 $2,000 Dr. Lidu Yi will travel to Yungang, ShanXi, China, to solidify the collaboration with Yungang Research Academy; One of the Chinese partners will be traveling to Miami and share their 3D models and scans with the project team and help to build the AR learning tool using the 3D models of the Yungang Cave. The funds here are used to cover travel costs for the two trips.  Technical support for 3D and AR development  $2,000  FIU GIS Center will provide the IT frame work for technical production, scripting, programming, and development of the 3D/AR tool. The funds here are used for necessary website creation, software, cloud computing space, etc.  2 Physical Exhibits at FIU and MDC    $2,000 MDC will plan, organize the two physical exhibits using replicas (in forms of 3D printing, or 2D posters) of the Yungang cave art, and combined with the AR learning tools for MDC and FIU students to experience and discovery the Yungang cave and its historical, artistic information associated to each detail. The funds here include event expenditure, 3D printing, 2D plotting, etc.  Total  $5,000 $5,000
