Two-wavelength scattering LIDAR for stand off detection of aerosols

Abstract

W artykule przedstawiono dwubarwny LIDAR rozproszeniowy, który został opracowany w Instytucie Optoelektroniki w Wojskowej Akademii Technicznej. LIDAR ten przeznaczony jest do zdalnej detekcji aerozoli naturalnych oraz sztucznych, zarówno biologicznych, jak i chemicznych. W pracy omówiono budowę LIDARA, jego podstawowe parametry oraz zaprezentowano wyniki badań laboratoryjnych i terenowych z jego zastosowaniem.In the article, two-wavelength backscattering LIDAR is presented. LIDAR was worked out and constructed at the Institute of Optoelectronics of the Military University of Technology. This LIDAR is destined for remote sensing of biological and chemical aerosols, both natural and antropoghenic ones.
