An application of 3D printing method for creation of usable models such as helmet shells

Abstract

W artykule przedstawiono możliwości aplikacyjne drukarki 3D ZPrinter 650 do wykonania modeli czerepów hełmów. Jako jej główne zastosowanie widzi się poza bezpośrednim wykonywaniem modeli wykorzystanie drukarki do wykonywania narzędzi do przetwórstwa chemoutwardzalnych tworzyw sztucznych, co pozwalałoby na wykonywanie detali o bardzo zbliżonych cechach i właściwościach do wyrobu docelowego.Application abilities of 3D printer type - ZD Printer 650 for creation of models of helmet shells, are presented in this paper. Apart from basic applications of the printer ie. direct creation of the models, the printer can also be suitable for creation of tools designed to processing of chemically curable plastics. This ability would make possible to create products possessing features and properties which are very close to the features and properties characteristic for final details
