Abstract
This article has the objective to discourse, in a brief way, about the beginning anddevelopment of the Radical Feminist Corrent, intending to identify on the patriarchate theory – itsprincipal purpose – the base of the female’s subordination. It is necessary, althought, a briefpassage trough the history to situate the Radical Feminism as a period of the extensive FeministMoviment, this one that has been acquiring its position in a team of the theories that have theobjective to promote women’s libertation.O presente artigo tem como objetivo discorrer, de forma breve, sobre a origem edesenvolvimento da Corrente Feminista Radical, com vistas a identificar na Teoria do Patriarcado– seu pressuposto principal – os fundamentos da subordinacao feminina. Fazendo–se necessario,portanto, um breve percurso pela historia para situar o Feminismo Radical como uma fase doMovimento Feminista mais amplo, este que ja havia adquirido seu status no conjunto das teoriasque tem em vista a libertacao da mulher
