This project is organized by the Jacksonville State University’s Center for Disaster and Community Resilience.  The purpose of this project is to collect stories of resilience for disaster survivors of the Jacksonville, AL tornado on March 19, 2018.  We are particularly interested in how people were affected by the tornado and how they coped with the aftermath in ways that helped them to adapt and adjust to the “new normal.”  We hope that in collecting these stories they give us greater knowledge and provide inspiration to help people in similar situations in the future.  On the backside of this letter, we have our informational flyer.  We anticipate the interview lasting an hour.
