Search this website … SearchUniversity Hosts SEC Pharmacy Deans’ MeetingJANUARY 23, 2018 BY SYDNEY SLOTKIN DUPRIESTOXFORD, Miss. – Deans from pharmacy schools across the Southeastern Conference will gather Jan.30-31 at the University of Mississippi School of Pharmacy to discuss issues and opportunities inpharmacy education.Among the topics slated for discussion are educational metrics, sharing educational resources, courseconsortiums and funding for pharmacy education. Ten of the conference’s 14 universities have pharmacyschools.The SEC deans hope to meet annually to continue sharing knowledge and helping maintain a robustpharmacy education system in the region.“This meeting is a wonderful opportunity to hear from one another about the challenges and triumphs ofeducating young pharmacists,” said David D.
