Abstract
Las habilidades comunicativas, entre ellas leer y escribir son un pilar fundamental para el
desarrollo humano porque permite que el ser humano se relacione efectiva y afectivamente, sin
embargo, el internet y la virtualidad han disminuido el interés de los niños y jóvenes en el proceso
lecto-escritor disminuyendo su rendimiento académico y su capacidad de análisis crítico, lo cual
se evidencia en los resultados obtenidos en las últimas pruebas de calidad aplicadas en Colombia.
Por otro lado, el juego ha permitido mantener la cultura y las tradiciones a través de los años
porque refuerzan valores como compañerismo, respeto, responsabilidad, entre otros, y fortalece
destrezas y habilidades. Por tanto, es importante rescatar los espacios lúdico-pedagógicos en las
escuelas porque constituyen la base de áreas del conocimiento y la convivencia pacífica.
Teniendo en cuenta lo anterior, el objetivo de esta investigación fue diseñar una estrategia para
el desarrollo de habilidades de lectura comprensiva y el uso de la ortografía en los estudiantes del
Centro Educativo Rural Juncalito de Enciso Santander, para ello se utilizaron tres etapas:
diagnóstico, donde se hizo un análisis descriptivo para determinar el nivel de comprensión lectora
y el uso de ortografía en los estudiantes desde primero a cuarto primaria. Luego, después de una
revisión documental se hizo el diseño de la propuesta, y se determinó utilizar una metodología
lúdico-pedagógica para trabajar temas como el cuento, el mito y la leyenda. Finalmente, se aplicó
la propuesta y se determinó que los estudiantes identifican y describen situaciones, además, son
capaces de construir conocimiento por medio de actividades fuera del aula porque consideran que

the development of reading comprehension skills and the use of spelling in students of the
Juncalito de Enciso Santander Rural Educational Center, for this purpose three stages were used:
