This study also examines the danger in giving in to temptation.  Few people recognize the harmful effects suppression of emotion can have on a person. According to the medically reviewed web-sight Very Well Mind, and the journal article The Social Costs of Emotional Suppression, suppressing one’s innermost feelings and desires for too long can cause negative mental health effects. These desires and feelings may include suppressed lust, anger, insecurity, and intrusive thoughts. In order to fully come to terms with this darker side of ourselves, we must recognize these suppressed feelings without entirely giving in to the temptations and anxieties they cause. This demonstration of one’s inner demons shows itself within the story of Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde and How I Met My Shadow Self.  For it is due to the malicious aspects of the suppressed human nature that cause so much misery that the attention towards this suppressed is required. If people continuously go about society without addressing their underlining issues, it could cause mass conflict and severe internal struggle later down the line. Christian worldview integration: 	         Throughout the conduction of this research, I have continuously held the belief that humanity is inherently evil. In Genesis chapter 3, when Adam and Eve initially disobeyed God and ate the forbidden fruit, they talked to the snake who tricked them into eating it. Still, their initial decision of malice and selfishness caused man to go astray from God. This internal evil within every human being persists within the subconscious and is the root of original sin. This removal of original sin can only occur through the love of Christ but also by addressing the evil within the hearts of all people. Although this evil takes various forms, such as lust, greed, wrath, or envy, the fact that it exists subconsciously must receive attention.           Due to the subconscious nature of human evil, people must address the suppression of this evil to turn from sin and become better servants of God. This removal of suppression is achieved through recognizing sin within one’s heart, addressing the suppression that one has for this sin, and then doing something about this sin so that their heart can become free. With this research presented before the audience, people will become more willing to look at themselves in the mirror and will become more willing to address their issues. One can manage one’s issues by either talking out their problems, taking active steps to overcome their flaws or simply seeking guidance from a notable individual. For this achievable end game to occur, one must demonstrate this research on suppressing sin.
