The Oregon Wine Advisory Board (now known as the Oregon Wine Board) presented this award of distinction to Salishan Lodge in 1991 for Outstanding Sales and Promotion of Oregon Wine. Phillip DeVito was the maître d’hôtel and cellar master for the fine dining and wine program at Salishan (in Gleneden Beach, Oregon) during that time and was in charge of building and promoting the resort\u27s extensive wine collection
