Approximate Maximum a Posteriori Carrier Phase Estimator for Wiener Phase Noise Channels using Belief Propagation

Abstract

The blind phase search (BPS) algorithm for carrier phase estimation is known to have sub-optimal performance for probabilistically shaped constellations.
