This study of faculty loads is in response to widely expressed concerns of the senate regarding perceived differences in work required of the various members from Western\u27s teaching faculties. The entire senate eligibility list was used as the sample because it, having been screened for senate eligibility, represents our teaching faculties, as distinguished from the administrative faculty, or other nonteaching personnel, and it is the senate for whom this report was prepared
