Abstract

Publications created by and about the English Department. Zephyrus is produced by the English Department and contains student creative writing. A literary magazine called Voices had been produced for a number of years prior to that, but in 1969 Professor Gatlin, with the help of Professor Will Fridy, came up with the title Zephyrus, the Roman name for the west wind, because Dr. Wood had asked that Western be included in the title.
