RESUMEN
Introduccion:
El tratamiento para el cáncer de próstata metastásico hormonosensible (mHSPC), ha evolucionado rápidamente en los últimos años con la adición de múltiples opciones asociadas a la terapia de bloqueo hormonal, antes considerada el pilar de tratamiento. La intensificación del tratamiento incluye quimioterapia con taxanos, así como las terapias dirigidas al eje del receptor de andrógenos.
El objetivo del presente estudio es la caracterización epidemiológica de la población con cáncer de metastásico hormonosensible en un centro de referencia en Bogotá.
Materiales y Métodos:
Cohorte histórico, Observacional. Se incluyeron todos los pacientes con cáncer de próstata metastásico hormonosensible desde el inicio de las terapias combinadas, desde el 2018 hasta Mayo del 2022 mediante un muestreo por conveniencia. Se describe la distribución de las variables epidemiológicas de interés, tratamiento de elección, se realiza un análisis de supervivencia, así como de distribución por años de las terapias de elección. Treatment for hormone-sensitive metastatic prostate cancer (mHSPC) has evolved rapidly in recent years with the addition of multiple options associated with hormone blocking therapy, previously considered the mainstay of treatment. Treatment intensification includes taxane-containing chemotherapy as well as therapies targeting the androgen receptor axis.
The objective of this study is the epidemiological characterization of the population with hormone-sensitive metastatic cancer in a referral center in Bogotá.

Historical cohort, Observational. All patients with metastatic hormone-sensitive prostate cancer from the start of combined therapies, from 2018 to May 2022, were included through convenience sampling. The distribution of the epidemiological variables of interest, treatment of choice, a survival analysis is performed, as well as the distribution by years of the therapies of choice.
