Abstract
The creative value of the novel lies in its connection to the reallife of the linguistic universe. A great novelist has access toareas of thought where the common man cannot reach. The"Father Goriot" is the greatest masterpiece of the famousFrench novelist Honoré de Balzac, in which a old Goriot isshown falling in love with his daughters.
