The business media in 2008 served on a global scale as a welcome scapegoat for the financial crisis. This study targets therefore on Quality Management in Swiss German business journalism. It focuses on Print, TV, Radio and online news rooms. The explorative study was conducted by means of 20 guided interviews with business journalists and chief editors. Given the fact that there is no specific research on quality management in Swiss business journalism up to now, this article provides some primary insights into the role and use of quality management instruments
