Digital banks are especially popular among people under the age of 50, as they are familiar with the general principle of working with mobile and computer devices. Digital banks use encrypted database storages, biometric means of information control, ensure the organization of workflow with electronic document management, etc. Therefore, the features of a modern digital bank can be considered to be ensuring high reliability of customer data security; flexible IT infrastructure; the use of updated approaches to the design and data warehouses; the existence of advanced analytics, etc. [1].  Digitalization of the banking sector has a number of advantages, which include: optimization and simplification of banking operations and services through standardization and implementation of remote solutions; economic benefits (reduction of financial and time costs); effective interaction between the client and the bank; the prospect of introducing advanced innovative technologies (artificial intelligence, blockchain, etc.).  A significant aspect is to constantly inform the customer base about available banking opportunities, possible changes and innovations. Many people have experienced financial difficulties due to the COVID-19 pandemic, which has led to an increase in the number of services provided by banks and transactions performed. Due to quarantine restrictions, banks had to quickly re-profile and overcome the shortcomings of the internal Internet banking system [2]. During the pandemic, flexible Internet banking systems were introduced by such banks as: Alfa-Bank Ukraine, Kredobank, Ukrgasbank, Credit Agricole, Pravex Bank, Pivdenny Bank, etc. In April 2020, mobile banking traffic increased by 85%, and new digital registrations by 200% [3], which indicates that online banking has 183 become the most popular solution for customers to carry out various operations during the pandemic time.  Despite the relatively low level of digitalization in Ukraine on a global scale, the demand for digitalization of banking services in the country is one of the highest. The population is ready for the everyday use of innovative technologies, which was confirmed by the established quarantine restrictions, when people realized that it is possible to conduct their activities fully without a physical presence in the bank.  For greater activation of the population in terms of using digital bank services, it is necessary to implement a number of measures, among which is: to encourage citizens to use non-cash payments; provide the population with a convenient and fast service for paying utility bills, taxes, etc;  to ensure the support of targeted strategies of banks by the government; to promote the improvement of information technologies with the use of international standards and overcome technical problems; increase the level of financial literacy of consumers by supporting similar digital projects.  The constant development of innovative technologies, the desire to increase efficiency and reduce costs, and increased banking competition are the main factors in the popularization and application of digital solutions, the implementation of which requires significant investment, which is complicated by the unstable economic situation in Ukraine caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and the crisis due to the war. Ukraine needs concrete business steps towards the digitalization of banks. The main prospects and trends can be considered the creation and development of a digital banking system, the use of biometric security, transactions without plastic cards, intensification of cooperation with financial companies, the originality of the mobile application design, etc. Consumers become more demanding when they can compare the structure of several mobile banks, so the development and modernization of existing digital systems should include the factor of design and user-friendly interface. A striking example is the successfully implemented innovative project Monobank from Universal Bank, which is now used by more than 3 million Ukrainians [1]. The state should take care of the constant formation and active implementation of strategies for the development of banking digitalization, implement technological changes, promote investment in Ukraine to maintain a competitive position in the context of the transformation of the modern financial market infrastructure and the COVID-19 pandemic, which has prompted banks to rethink the structure of their activities, efficiency and comfort of service provision, and also contributed to understanding the importance of creating and implementing modern and long-term digital technologies. Кузнечна, 1 vetta0918@gmail.com  Проблематикою розвинення цифрової економіки в Україні займаються все давно, вчені зацікавилися цим питанням, адже цей напрям проникає у наше повсякденне все більш та являє собою не окрему галузь, а інструмент продажу товарів, надання послуг, методу фінансового обліку та аналізу за засобами використання інтернету, які охоплюють різні сфери бізнесу. Вагомі кроки в бік цифровізації були зроблені у 2018 році, коли уряд прийняв Концепцію розвитку цифрової економіки та суспільства 2018-2020 роки [1], метою якої стало розробка законодавчих, інституційних, фіскальних заходів, впровадженню стимулів для заохочення бізнесу та споживачів та розвитку цифрових інфраструктур. Також українським інститутом майбутнього у 2018 році була підготовлена програма «Україна 2030Е – країна з розвинутою цифровою економікою». В роботі презентовано подальше розвинення цифрової економіки країни та обґрунтовані подальші кроки для її розвитку в Україні. Для досягнення поставлених цілей та розробці подальшого плану, щодо розвинення цифрової економіки у 2019 році було сформовано Комітет з питань цифрової трансформації, яким задані цілі [2]: - створення нормативно-правової бази для врегулювання питань цифровізації;  - створення законодавчої бази адміністрування, функціонування і використання мережі Інтернет;  - створення Національної та державної програмами інформатизації, а також програмами ЄС «Єдиний цифровий ринок»; - створення програм цифрового співробітництва; - електронне урядування та публічні електронні послуги;
