Background: it is necessary to encourage the formation of psychological contents in the pedagogical process that contribute to the development of the Medical students´ personality.
Objective: to develop an educational strategy for the formation of psychological contents in the pedagogical process of Medical students in the Faculty of Medical Sciences "Mariana Grajales Coello" from the University of Medical Sciences of Holguín.
Methods: a development research was carried out, as declared in the objective, from January to November 2022. The characteristics of the professional model and the pedagogical process of Medical students were taken into account, according to the different forms of teaching organization.
Results: some hindrances were identified in the formation of psychological contents in the pedagogical process of Medical students, from which the educational strategy was developed. The strategy is composed by four interrelated stages: characterization of the formation of psychological contents in the pedagogical process of Medical students, actions organization, actions implementation and assessment. It has an interdisciplinary, multidimensional, active-participatory, contextual and cross-sectional nature.
Conclusions: a feasible educational strategy for the formation of psychological contents in the pedagogical process of Medical students was developed
