Simulations of Y-Junction Photonic Crystal Waveguide for Sensing Applications

The aim is to study the variation in the transmission spectra in the near-infrared (NIR) for small displacements of the pillars placed in the photonic waveguide through simulations of the electromagnetic field propagation via the Finite-Difference Time-Domain Method (FDTD).
