Abstract

A presentaton of epigraphical discoveries made on the Island of Cabrera (Balearic Islands): the first examples of this kind of historical document to have been found on the island. Although they were not found in their original archeological context, the inscriptions are an invaluable source of information about man's oecupation of the island.Se dan a conocer los hallazgos epigráficos de la isla de Cabrera (Islas Baleares), primeras muestras de este tipo de documento histórico aparecidas en la isla. Tales inscripciones, pese a su hallazgo fuera de contexto arqueológico, suponen una fuente dc primordial importancia para el conocimiento de la ocupación humana de la Isla
