This research work deals with a chronologically ordered compilation of seventy-eight manuscripts housed in the Library of the Barcelona University that contain references to the city of Gerona. The date of the manuscripts goes from the fourteen-century to 1860. The compilation includes the study of the main subject matters - religious, historical, juridical, etc. - of the manuscripts. An onomastic index of the people mentioned in them is also appended
