Death and the Family

Abstract

This catalogue was made to accompany a major exhibition of photo-based works which address the issue of mortality in the context of the family. The authors focus on photography's association with death, temporality and the eternal, by analyzing modernist notions of identity, subjectivity, freedom and autonomy.
